Any Questions? Let’s talk
Apostille, Authentication, or Legalization—We Handle It All
Canadian documents for international use must go through either apostille certification or a two-step authentication and legalization process, depending on the destination country. Since Canada joined the Hague Apostille Convention in 2024, documents for member countries can now be apostilled without embassy involvement. For non-member countries, we continue to manage the full process through Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and the respective foreign embassy.
We at Notable Notary simplify international document certification from beginning to end. Whether it’s for employment, education, marriage, or corporate use, our team ensures everything is legally compliant and completed without delay. You don’t need to understand every regulation—we guide you through it all and offer transparent pricing starting at just $125 CAD.
Our Step-by-Step Apostille Process
We remove the stress of navigating complex government procedures by offering an end-to-end service that’s accurate, fast, and internationally recognized.
Our Step-by-Step Apostille Process
Initial Review & Consultation
We start with a free review of your documents to confirm eligibility and identify the correct legalization method based on the receiving country. We also clarify if your province allows local processing or if routing through Global Affairs Canada is required.
Provinces like Ontario, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Quebec can often process documents provincially. Other provinces and territories must go through Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa.
Notarization & Authentication
Whether you need in-person, mobile, or online notarization, we provide it. Once notarized, we manage the authentication step through GAC or the designated provincial authority, saving you weeks of waiting and travel.
Embassy Legalization or Apostille
If the receiving country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, we obtain the apostille certificate. If not, we work directly with the appropriate embassy or consulate to legalize your document. We manage all fees and coordination on your behalf.
Secured Return
All completed documents are returned using trackable, secure couriers so you stay informed every step of the way.
Initial Document Review
We begin with a free consultation to check your document type and explain the country-specific requirements. This ensures we follow the correct steps from the very start.
Notarization & Authentication
Our team notarizes your documents—online, mobile, or in-person—and then manages authentication directly with Global Affairs Canada. No need for you to visit Ottawa.
Embassy Legalization & Delivery
We coordinate with the destination country's embassy or consulate, handle all fees, and return your legalized document using a secure, trackable courier.
